The Homecare Scheduler is a pivotal role in ensuring seamless client care by efficiently managing and coordinating caregiver schedules to match each individual client's needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign caregivers based on client requirements, skills, and availability, planning for staffing gaps.
- Adjust schedules for emergencies, last-minute absences, and urgent client needs.
- Communicate schedule changes to caregivers and clients, offering incentives for hard-to-fill shifts.
- Act as the main contact for caregivers, handling availability, assignments, and policy updates.
- Maintain accurate records in scheduling software, tracking availability and backup schedules.
- Keep financial records updated in accounting software, auditing and reconciling reports.
- Manage accounts payable, verify caregiver timesheets, and ensure accurate payroll processing.

- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Homecare Scheduler or client relations in the homecare industry.
- Experience using scheduling software and ability to manage 75 clients and 300 hours of schedules.
