Senior Software Engineer Position

This is a key role within the development team responsible for designing, developing and implementing software solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Implement all aspects of an application design including high-performance coding, caching mechanisms, security, encryption, state management, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development environment configuration and testing.
  • Develop frameworks and processes for applications projects using existing technologies in a structured and maintainable fashion.
  • Evaluate and improve application performance.
  • Responsible for coordination, requirements derivation, software design and implementation of projects.
  • Work primarily in deployment and development solutions team with a focus on delivering improved customer experience and development.
  • Perform unit and system level testing on applications.
  • Collaborate with product development teams, product management, design office, services and assist in upgrade testing, analyzing and resolving upgrade issues.
  • Address customer escalations.
  • Develop automation tools, utilities and scripts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years' experience with .NET Technologies (.NET Core, ASP.Net, MVC 4.0 or above) with C# as primary language.
  • At least 3 years' experience with SQL Server 2019 or above.
  • Working knowledge of microservice architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with publishing and consuming RESTful APIs programmatically and using tools like Postman.
  • Experience preparing unit tests with Nunit or Xunit.
  • Experience working with distributed source control like GIT.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
  • Effective communication skills within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and directed with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and efficiently execute tasks with minimal or no supervision.
  • Strong analytical logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.
