Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to lead our treasury capabilities, including clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and correspondent banking infrastructure.

About the Role

This is a pivotal role in scaling our financial operations, delivering innovative settlement products, and ensuring operational integrity in a regulated environment. You will collaborate closely with Finance, Risk, and Engineering teams to enhance real-time fund visibility, financial reconciliation, and transaction processing across the full payment lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and driving the vision, strategy, and product roadmap for our treasury infrastructure.
  • Developing innovative settlement solutions, exploring emerging technologies like Crypto and Stablecoins.
  • Collaborating with Finance, Risk, and Treasury teams to build tools for real-time fund monitoring, anomaly detection, and transaction auditing.
  • Designing end-to-end fund flows and reconciliation processes across acquiring, issuing, disbursement, and remittance value chains.
  • Leading the development of scalable ledger systems, journal engines, and reconciliation modules that ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Driving automation and modernization of our accounting systems to align with evolving digital banking needs.
  • Prioritizing and delivering enhancements to support journal batching, ledger performance, and financial traceability at scale.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3–5 years of experience in product management, preferably within Financial Services, Banking, or Treasury systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in treasury or financial operations, with exposure to settlement networks, fund flows, and clearing systems.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation frameworks, and financial reporting tools.
  • Deep familiarity with payment rails, clearing houses, and emerging treasury infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of launching complex financial products in regulated markets.
  • Hands-on experience working with APIs, ERP systems, accounting software, and SQL-based data extraction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders.
