Job Overview

The role of HR Generalist is a crucial position within any organization, focusing on providing employee support and addressing queries related to HR policies, payroll, benefits, and compliance. This encompasses resolving grievances, maintaining daily logs, and tracking resolution times for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Onboarding: Organize pre-boarding activities, plan orientation sessions, assign mentors, ensure IT security setup before the first day, and track progress during the probation period.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Develop engagement initiatives, conduct regular check-ins, mediate disputes, and conduct exit interviews to enhance retention rates.
  • Training & Development: Assess training needs, develop relevant materials, schedule and conduct sessions, evaluate effectiveness, and maintain accurate training records.
  • Payroll & Benefits Management: Process payroll transactions, manage health insurance, leave, and retirement benefits, address discrepancies, stay updated on regulations, and coordinate with finance for audits.
  • Compliance & HR Policies (EMEA): Ensure adherence to local laws, update HR policies, conduct compliance training, handle employment contracts and terminations, and maintain comprehensive audit documentation.
  • HR Analytics & Reporting: Collect and analyze metrics, prepare leadership reports, utilize data-driven decision-making, and implement HR technology solutions.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in operations or HR-related roles.
  3. Proficiency in HRMS and HR analytics tools, including knowledge of payroll and benefits platforms.
  4. Understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements.
  5. Data analysis and reporting skills using Excel or similar software.
  6. Expertise in process documentation and SOP creation.
  7. Proficiency in audit and compliance tracking.
  8. Project management skills for process improvement initiatives.
  9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  10. Conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
  11. Empathy and active listening skills.
  12. Ability to adapt to changing HR policies and business needs.
  13. Confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
