Description:This role involves managing the timely delivery and acquisition of permits from regulatory bodies. The Permit Coordinator will ensure project teams incorporate permit requirements into their planning and execution phases without delays.
- Create plans and action sequences to secure necessary permits.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine permit requirements, vendor information needs, and application timelines.
- Maintain and update a database of permits and provide progress reports to the project team.
- Integrate the permits plan into the project schedule to ensure visibility of permit triggers.
- Identify risks related to permit delivery and implement control and recovery measures.
About the Role:
The Permit Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all necessary permits are obtained in a timely manner. This includes developing plans and action sequences to secure permits, collaborating with stakeholders to determine permit requirements, and maintaining a database of permits.
Requirements:Skillset:- Extensive experience in handling permits from regulatory bodies.
- Strong planning and scheduling background.
- Proficiency in planning software.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
- Graduate of any discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience, ideally in the oil and gas or power industry as a Permit Coordinator.
