The Permit Coordinator role is pivotal in ensuring the timely delivery and security of permits from regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Permit Planning: Coordinate plans and sequences of actions to secure required permits.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with permit stakeholders to determine requirements, vendor information, and application timing.
  • Database Maintenance: Maintain and update the project permit database, providing regular progress updates to the team.
  • Integrated Schedule: Integrate permits into the project schedule for visibility on trigger dates.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with permit delivery, implementing controls and recovery measures as needed.
  • Communication: Collaborate with the project team, stakeholders, and regulators to integrate permit progress information.
  • Project Risk Register: Manage the project risk register, ensuring permit-related risks are documented and up-to-date.
  • Risk Status: Highlight high-risk areas requiring attention.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in dealing with regulatory permits.
  • Planning: Excellent planning and scheduling skills, preferably gained in an Oil and Gas environment.
  • Software: Proficient in using planning software (Primavera or similar).
  • Microsoft Office: Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Initiative: Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Pressure Tolerance: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Seniority: Minimum 10 years' experience in a permit coordination role, preferably in Oil and Gas or Power Industry.
