Leadership Position for Senior Engineering Manager

As a seasoned professional, you have the opportunity to lead our NetSuite team and make strategic decisions that drive growth. Your role will be to oversee the development and direction of our NetSuite-based solutions, ensuring technical excellence across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Develop leadership talent, foster ownership, remove blockers, and create an inclusive environment for your team members.
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent specializing in ERP solutions.
  • Grow leadership talent across NetSuite development teams.
  • Set technical direction and ensure architectural integrity across multiple teams.
  • Oversee scalable NetSuite ERP solutions using SuiteScript, JavaScript, and database technologies.
  • Drive custom NetSuite development including SuiteBundler/SuiteApp and SuiteFlow implementations.
  • Maintain code quality standards and ensure security compliance with ERP best practices.
  • Implement proper customization of objects, workflows, and NetSuite administration.
  • Translate business goals into actionable objectives for ERP platforms.
  • Lead product consolidation efforts across multiple NetSuite implementations and customizations.
  • Make cross-team technical decisions and manage technical debt in enterprise systems.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development.
  • 5+ years of management experience leading multiple teams and managing managers.
  • Experience with JavaScript, SQL (PL/SQL), and relational database design with Oracle and MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
  • Experience with ERP system implementation and management.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices for enterprise systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced NetSuite certifications (Administrator, Developer, Consultant).
  • Experience with SuiteScript development, SuiteBundler/SuiteApp creation, and SuiteFlow customization.
  • Experience with other ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Knowledge of integration patterns and APIs for enterprise systems.
  • Experience with stored procedure development and database optimization.
  • Understanding of financial and operational business processes.
