Job Title: Senior Production Process Development Engineer

">About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Production Process Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new production processes and improving existing ones to increase efficiency and productivity.

Your primary focus will be on analyzing engineering drawings and specifications to design and implement innovative solutions that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to develop new production processes;
  • Evaluate existing processes to reduce waste, improve yield, and raise productivity;
  • Engage in lean initiatives and apply continuous improvement principles such as ACE or TQM to drive performance and quality outcomes;
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their technical growth;
  • Serve as the escalation point for customer-related engineering issues and improvement projects;
  • Collaborate with quality engineering to develop gauging systems and control procedures;
  • Design and validate tooling, fixtures, and process equipment;
  • Handle cost savings projects;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in production process development or a related field;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications;
  • A strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices;
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
