About Our Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to support our Servicing team in managing SBA 7(a), SBA SLA, SBA Express, and SBA 504 loan portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct post-closing reviews on SBA loan files and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Process servicing actions following SBA Servicing and Liquidation procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain SBA loan portfolios, tracking financials and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with annual loan reviews to ensure adherence to SBA and internal credit guidelines.
  • Support collection efforts by reviewing insurance, real estate taxes, payoffs, and collateral releases.
  • Respond to borrower inquiries regarding loan releases, subordinations, and payoff demands.
  • Track and manage past-due and maturing loans, preparing necessary documentation and notifications.
  • Prepare and document deferment requests for approval.
  • Maintain accurate borrower correspondence logs and loan records.
  • Work closely with the Portfolio Manager to generate reports for senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (preferred)
  • 2-4 years of experience in the banking industry, preferably with lending, credit risk, and portfolio management experience
  • SBA experience is not required as there will be internal trainings provided, but a background in the banking and finance industries is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
