Job Description

A Technical Assistant role at a deluxe hotel located in the financial and commercial district of Manila. The hotel offers spacious guestrooms, world-class restaurants, top-of-the-line recreational facilities, complimentary broadband and Wi-Fi Internet access.


Responsibilities
  • Manage, coach and supervise engineering technicians to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain electrical and mechanical plant & equipment of the hotel to prevent breakdowns.
  • Organise and manage engineering programmes to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Perform and update preventive maintenance programs on equipment as applicable.
  • Provide assistance to hotel engineering issues promptly.

Qualifications
  • Passion for Engineering is essential.
  • Understanding of engineering equipment in a hotel/resort setting is necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative is required.
  • Relevant experience with an International 5-star Hotel Group is beneficial.
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer is desirable.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for engineering and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
