Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Creditor Liaison Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our revenue management group, you will play a critical role in securing revenue and building strong relationships with customers.

Your primary responsibility will be to contact business-to-business (B2B) customers via phone, email, or fax to discuss outstanding invoices and billing issues. You will manage a collections portfolio ranging from 300 to 600 accounts, negotiate customer payment terms as needed, and develop and maintain relationships with customer accounts.

You will also work closely with internal sales reps to proactively troubleshoot payment issues, document and track collections activity, and manage individual and department monthly receivable targets. Additionally, you will reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accurate financial records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A completed college diploma in Accounting or Finance
  • Two to three years of experience in corporate (B2B) collections
  • Experience with the Accounts Receivable escalation process and taking initiative to resolve account issues
  • A good understanding of fundamental accounting principles
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
