Key Responsibilities

The Acquisitions Analyst will support the acquisition and finance teams with tasks such as financial analysis and modeling, market research, due diligence, investment presentations, and pipeline management.

The role requires effective communication with stakeholders, property sellers, brokers, and service providers. The candidate should be a self-starter, comfortable working in a team environment with minimal oversight.

Duties include:

  • Performing financial analysis and underwriting on potential investments.
  • Reviewing offering memoranda and seller-provided materials such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.
  • Conducting market research and analysis for investment decision support.
  • Preparing high-quality presentation decks.
  • Assisting in property-level due diligence, including lease review, rent roll, loan documents, and coordinating with third parties.
  • Performing market-level due diligence, including sale and lease comparables and investment trends.
  • Organizing and maintaining the acquisition pipeline.
  • Providing administrative support to the acquisition and finance teams.

Qualifications

To be successful, candidates should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or accounting.
  • An MBA degree is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management, finance, or acquisitions.
  • Experience with top consulting firms or financial institutions is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in underwriting and analyzing real estate opportunities.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills are required.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
