Executive Accounting Professional

The Senior Accountant will oversee the accounting operations of our organization, ensuring accurate financial transactions and reporting.

1. Onboard new clients using a template and assign them to the right Accountant for seamless integration and service delivery.
2. Ensure Accountants meet deadlines and maintain client satisfaction through effective communication and task management.
3. Help onboard new team members, provide support, and facilitate their growth within the organization.
4. Review monthly financial reports for errors before sharing them with clients, guaranteeing accuracy and transparency.
5. Monitor client channels to ensure clear and consistent communication across all platforms.
6. Verify that Accountants meet performance goals and help balance workloads for optimal efficiency.
7. Collaborate with other Managers to resolve issues promptly, escalating concerns to senior leaders when necessary.
8. Provide feedback to senior leaders on systems and suggest improvements to enhance organizational performance.
9. Identify opportunities to grow client revenue and share innovative ideas with senior leadership.
10. Conduct regular team evaluations, recommend promotions, and maintain open, professional communication with clients at all times.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• 3-7 Years of Accounting or Finance Experience: Proven track record of handling complex financial tasks and responsibilities.
• Supervisory Experience: Lead teams, oversee operations, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close, audit support, and financial reporting.
• GAAP Knowledge: Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Accounting Software Expertise: Familiarity with popular accounting software, including QuickBooks, Dear, and XERO.
• Advanced Excel Skills: Ability to create pivot tables, use VLOOKUPs, and apply formulas to analyze data.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Think critically and make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Leadership and Communication Abilities: Inspire and motivate teams, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships.
• Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills: Maintain accuracy, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Certification: A plus, but not required.
• Ecommerce and Integration Experience: Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and integrations with accounting systems.
• Inventory Accounting and COGS Experience: Understanding of inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, and deferred revenue concepts.
• SaaS-Based and Marketing Businesses Experience: Knowledge of SaaS-based businesses and marketing strategies.
