Job Summary

The Production Support Engineer I is a vital role within the Data Operations Technical Support team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Create and maintain detailed support and recovery documentation for automated workflows.

  2. Interpret and provide technical assistance for workflows created using proprietary FactSet tools.

  3. Monitor critical automated processes to ensure seamless operation.

  4. Establish open communication channels with vendors and internal stakeholders to facilitate process maintenance and troubleshooting.

  5. Develop and test new features and enhancements to the Operator/ETL toolset.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field.

  • Exhibit exceptional time and task management skills.

  • Display strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Be able to read and interpret complex technical documentation.

  • Possess business-level written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Have experience interacting with clients/stakeholders/vendors/colleagues remotely via phone, email, or instant messaging.

  • Demonstrate familiarity with scripting/programming, databases, data transfer, data manipulation, ETL processes, command line operating systems, finance/investing, or a strong interest in these concepts.

  • Be willing to work on a flexible schedule to provide 24/7 support.
