Senior Assurance Expert

We are seeking a seasoned senior assurance professional to join our team. As a key member of our assurance department, you will work independently on various engagements across multiple industries.
Our mission is to match skilled professionals with excellent work opportunities based on their expertise and experience in audit, accounting, and financial-related areas.
You will conduct research and analyze financial statement issues using electronic sources and software, contribute to the assurance workflow by identifying, analyzing, and articulating problems and opportunities, and propose solutions to client issues.
Gaining a comprehensive understanding of company operations to assess internal controls and provide business process solutions to client management is crucial for this role.
You will communicate timely results both internally and externally, maintain positive relationships with clients, and carry moderately complex tasks through to completion.
In addition, you will supervise and coach staff and interns on detailed engagements, maintain proficiency in computer software applications, and promote efficient use of time.
You will participate in Level 3, 4, and 5 assurance training, and engage in professional and business organizations as requested.
Key Requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
- Compliance with the 150 hour rule and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- Two to four years recent public accounting experience.
- Understanding of generally accepted auditing standards, GAAP, FASB, and industry-specific rules.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong research, organizational, computer, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
