Senior Tax Expert Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Expert to join our team. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for reviewing complex tax returns, advising clients on tax matters, and mentoring junior staff members.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, review, and oversee the preparation of individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to clarify information and provide expert tax guidance, delivering high-quality service and building strong relationships.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies and planning for clients, providing valuable insights and advice.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate filings, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Participate in and lead Enrolled Agent (EA) study groups, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Preparer, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience reviewing tax returns, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver high-quality service.
  • Familiarity with tax planning and explaining strategies in simple terms, making complex concepts accessible to clients.
  • Willingness to mentor and support junior staff members, providing guidance and training to help them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Growth mindset and leadership potential, with a desire to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.
