Job Overview
\This role is responsible for providing technical support to various systems, including servers and edge devices. The successful candidate will be required to install, repair, and maintain these systems while ensuring that all processes and procedures align with company policies and industry best practices.
\Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and test desktops and laptops before deployment, ensuring that Thin Client and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) devices interconnect seamlessly with file servers and mail servers.\
- Maintain the functionality and efficiency of computer and user objects in active directory, configuring user access for basic Local Area Network (LAN) services, including setting up email accounts for new team members and deleting terminated team members.\
- Build and configure infrastructure underpinning LAN services as directed under supervision.\
- Respond to routine technical issues surrounding desktop/laptop hardware, Microsoft Operating Systems, and/or installed software, following through to appropriate resolution.\
- Collect data on LAN capacity and performance, providing reports to higher-level analysts.\
- Review and update departmental documentation as directed.\
- Ensure adherence to technology policies and compliance with all security controls as directed.\
- Manage work queues, seeking support from higher-level analysts or managers as needed.\
- Troubleshoot software and hardware failures, identifying network problems related to servers, desktops, or laptop computers.\
