Key responsibilities of the Administration Assistant role include maintaining CRM data, generating reports and performing administrative tasks related to financial planning.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for compiling data, drafting letters and documents as needed.
  • Data entry into our CRM and Document Management tools.
  • Maintaining CRM client information with relevant updates.
  • Creating reports from the CRM and providers portals, providing analysis to stakeholders.
  • Collecting and documenting business requirements and process improvement/automation efforts.
  • Conducting research on insurance products, financial concepts and tax strategies.
  • Collaborating with advisers to identify appropriate investment strategies based on client needs and goals.

Competencies and Qualifications
  • Three years of experience as an Administration Assistant or in a similar role in the financial industry.
  • Proficient in financial planning software is required.
  • Strong numerical reasoning skills and good math skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with Superannuation, Centrelink and Investments in Australia is necessary.
  • A desire to become an expert in wealth products and advice preparation is a must.
  • Excellent command of the English language is required.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office are a must.
  • Meticulous attention to details is essential.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
