Role Overview

The Paraplanner will provide administrative support to our financial planning team by preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs), conducting product comparisons, and performing strategy modelling in areas such as superannuation, insurance, and pensions.

This role involves delivering research, analysis, and documentation to ensure seamless client service. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial planning software like Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive SOAs and ROAs in accordance with compliance requirements.
  • Conduct product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Assist in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilize financial planning software for research and documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients.
  • Ensure all financial plans and recommendations comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate client records and liaise with advisers to refine financial strategies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
