A business development representative plays a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This position requires strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to effectively work with clients and internal teams.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and writing skills, be proficient in the English language, and possess a confident and customer-centric approach. They should also have experience working in a CRM system and handling objections from business customers.
Key responsibilities include conducting welcome calls with new clients, understanding their needs, and assessing which plan fits best in terms of value and cost-effectiveness. The successful candidate will also be responsible for qualifying leads, managing client interactions, and sharing feedback with internal teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications- At least 3 years of client-facing experience
- Excellent communication and writing skills (email competency)
- Proficiency in the English language
- Confident on the phone and able to handle objections from business customers
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Experience with a CRM system (Salesforce) is an added advantage
