Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

This is a remote financial operations role that requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and cloud-based accounting software.
  • They will be responsible for processing and categorizing approximately 500 monthly transactions, managing accounts payable through Bill.com, and creating and maintaining jobs in QuickBooks Online.
  • Additional responsibilities include handling accounts receivable, tracking and reconciling credit card transactions and handwritten checks, and collaborating with team members via Slack.
  • The successful candidate will also monitor and maintain accuracy between multiple financial systems, process purchase orders and customer invoices, and ensure all customer invoices are properly logged and assigned to correct jobs.
Requirements:
  • QuickBooks Online certification is required.
  • Experience with Bill.com is preferred, but not necessary.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong English communication skills, be detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry, and have the ability to work independently while following established processes.
  • Proficiency in financial reconciliation and knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices are also essential.
