Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for efficiently removing deposits from power plant condensers and heat exchangers to restore, improve, and maintain their optimal operating performance.

You will need to have the ability to mobilize at short notice to travel and perform work in various facilities across the country. We provide airfare/lodging/daily per diem for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manually clean condenser and heat exchange tubes using a water pump system with assorted tube cleaners.
  • Read a pressure gauge to identify drops and/or rises in pressure from the water pump system.
  • Frequently lift, transport, assemble/reassemble, carry or otherwise move and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs when loading/unloading vehicles and setting up to and from job sites.
  • Ensure trailers are inventory-ready after each job.
  • Perform routine maintenance on all service equipment.
  • Set up support equipment as needed (i.e., generator and compressor).
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
  • A valid Driver's License with a good driving record is necessary.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and able to obtain a TWIC card.
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable.
Physical Demands:
  • The ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods (8+ hours per day) is required.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching in various environments is necessary.
  • Lifting and carrying tools, equipment, and materials up to 50 lbs (occasionally heavier with assistance) is required.
  • Working in outdoor and indoor environments, sometimes in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.), is necessary.
  • Climbing ladders, scaffolding, or working at heights as needed is required.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely is essential.
  • Dexterity to perform fine motor tasks, such as wiring, assembling, or troubleshooting equipment, is required.
  • Driving for extended periods to custom sites, sometimes in remote locations, is necessary.
  • Working in confined spaces, such as crawl spaces, attics, or utility areas, is required.
  • Adhering to safety protocols is essential.
