Accounts Receivable Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing the financial aspects of our business, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.

Your primary responsibility will be to handle distributor/retailer back-up retrieval, collections, and transaction processing. You will work closely with the AR Manager to build a scalable platform that supports deductions reconciliation, including identifying trends and opportunities for the client based on expense settlements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Trade Promotion Management
  • A background or education in Accounting is required
  • Proficiency in SaaS products, including Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite
  • Deductions, collections, reconciliations, and general trade finance experience is necessary
  • CPG Industry experience is mandatory
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
