Senior Accountant Role

To succeed in this challenging position, you will need to demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Your attention to detail must be impeccable, as you prepare accurate financial statements, working papers, and tax returns for clients.

You will work closely with client managers and accountants to provide expert advice and troubleshooting on tax-related matters. This includes income tax obligations and deductions, capital gains tax calculations and strategies, and Goods and Services Tax compliance.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in Australian tax accounting is required, with proven expertise in tax compliance, regulations, and strategies. You will also need to have advanced proficiency in Xero accounting software, OneDrive, Outlook, and Excel for reporting and data management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Australian taxation legislation and ATO rulings. They will also possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax concepts clearly and professionally.
