Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and investigating financial data, researching trends, and providing recommendations to optimize business performance.

  • Partner with Operations to complete daily margin reports and identify areas of improvement.
  • Provide support on data sources and discrepancies, including insight into assumptions for cost estimations such as wage rates, taxes, benefits, PTO, and other allocated expenses.
  • Hold weekly review calls with Operations to discuss trends and performance, develop action plans on areas of opportunity to optimize monthly performance.
  • Compare month-end financials to actual results in detail and provide variance analysis with follow-up on opportunities to improve data accuracy.
  • Assist Operations in completing the Monthly Forecast Process and understand all assumptions that go into building the financial forecast.
  • Hold monthly review calls with key stakeholders to discuss forecast changes versus prior submissions, versus plan, and versus trend.
  • Provide bridges or variance commentary as required.
  • Compare month-end forecast results to actual results in detail to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Analyze client, site, geography, and department Profit & Loss (P&L)s.
  • Analyze all levels of P&Ls and perform variance analysis as requested.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical aptitude to identify opportunities for change, identify alternative best practice solutions, and anticipate future problems and opportunities.
  • Ability to identify problems and problem resolution skills used to effectively determine and implement alternative solutions and bring issues to a positive resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply assessment measurement and evaluation techniques to ensure processes, systems, and applications meet business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, glean meaning from available data, quickly study new information, and add personal wisdom and experience to come to the best conclusion and solution given the situation.
