
Healthcare Support Associate Position

This role requires delivering high-quality care to members and providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage member intake, admission/discharge information, and notification post-activation
- Collaborate with hospitals, clinics, facilities, and the clinical team to manage requests from members and providers
- Process incoming and outgoing referrals, prior authorizations, intake, notification, and census roles
- Provide triage and care coordination notification cases for non-clinical assessment/intervention
- Handle member inquiries and provider resolution
- Ensure compliance with employment contract terms, company policies, and procedures
This is a high-volume customer service environment requiring efficiency, productivity, and thoroughness when interacting with members over the phone. A flexible schedule including evening hours is also required.
Required Qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems
- Microsoft Word and Excel skills for document creation, editing, and sending
- Ability to type and talk simultaneously while navigating multiple screens
Preferred qualifications include experience working within the healthcare industry, Medicare and/or Medicaid services, metric-driven work environments, call center experience, ICD-9 and CPT codes knowledge, and clerical or administrative support backgrounds.
