Job Description

The primary function of this role is to provide administrative support to the Human Resources department. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling various tasks such as processing documentation related to employee leave, accommodations, and benefits.


Responsibilities:
  • Process and track FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, Leave Administration, and Unemployment Claims.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in HRIS platforms and personnel files.
  • Assist with coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation, background checks, I-9 compliance, and exit interviews.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and manage the HR inbox.
  • Track training, performance evaluations, and employee documentation.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communication efforts.
  • Generate reports and assist with audits and data integrity.
  • Coordinate performance management processes and reviews, generate completion reports, and support managers and employees throughout the cycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a strong understanding of US federal and state labor laws, as well as general HR practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, leave administration, and unemployment-related processes.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, or HR/Admin supporting US-based companies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, BambooHR, and ATS/HRIS platforms.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and attention to detail when handling confidential information.
