We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Rent Collector to join our team specializing in the real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Rent Collection: Initiate and follow up on rent payment reminders to ensure tenants are aware of their payment due dates.
  2. Effective Communication: Engage with tenants via phone, email, or messaging platforms to discuss payment issues, establish payment plans, and provide assistance when needed.
  3. Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date records of all rent payments, payment plans, and communication logs in our property management system.
  4. Dispute Resolution: Collaborate with tenants to resolve disputes or questions related to their rent payments or leases.
  5. Regular Reporting: Provide updates to management regarding outstanding payments, collection efforts, and tenant interactions.
  6. Compliance: Ensure that all collection processes adhere to legal requirements and company policies.
  • Previous experience in rent collection, property management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Proficiency in property management software or databases (e.g., Buildium, AppFolio) is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy when dealing with tenants.
  • Knowledge of rental laws and regulations in the applicable market.
