Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Japanese Bilingual Player Engagement Agent. The role will involve serving as the primary point of contact for players, providing technical support, community management, and trust & safety services for AAA and Indie studios in the gaming industry.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of customer service principles, and the ability to quickly learn customer service based tools and techniques. They will also be proficient in navigating knowledge bases for efficient support and possess basic troubleshooting skills to assist players with technical challenges.

As a Japanese Bilingual Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication between clients and the gaming community. Your responsibilities will include investigating and delivering prompt, quality responses to players' questions while providing valuable feedback to our developers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Master level Japanese language proficiency (C1-C2) with native-level English at B2 or higher;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Basic knowledge of CRM software such as Zendesk or Helpshift;
  • Experience with macros customization for streamlined responses.

You will also be expected to have flexibility to adapt to various situations and player needs, accountability and reliability in handling player inquiries and issues, and proactivity in identifying and addressing player concerns proactively.
