Network Engineering Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and supporting our enterprise network across all sites.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in multi-site network engineering, particularly with Fortinet firewalls, SD-WAN, switching, and Wi-Fi.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with a security-first mindset, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Deploying, configuring, and maintaining Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and other networking devices.
  • Managing wireless networks using Fortinet FortiWLC/FortiAP and Cambium controllers/APs.
  • Overseeing WAN connectivity and ISP relationships.
  • Maintaining accurate network diagrams and asset inventories.

The role also requires experience integrating log sources and building detections in Microsoft Sentinel or similar SIEM platforms.

Additional responsibilities may include participating in the on-call rotation for critical network and security incidents, coordinating maintenance windows, change requests, and communication with stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on network engineering experience in a multi-site environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Fortinet firewalls, SD-WAN, switching, and Wi-Fi.
  • Experience integrating log sources and building detections in Microsoft Sentinel or similar SIEM platforms.
  • Proficiency with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), network security best practices, and wireless design principles.

Candidates should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a security-first mindset, and excellent communication skills.
