The Business Development Lead role at TaskUs drives strategic growth initiatives, develops new business opportunities, and establishes strong relationships with potential clients.
Responsibilities- Develop a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve company objectives;
- Identify and prioritize target markets, industries, and potential clients for BPO services;
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform decisions;
- Prospect and engage with potential clients to generate new business opportunities;
- Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events;
- Lead end-to-end sales process including proposals, negotiations, and contract finalization;
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers;
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet client needs and drive value;
- Track KPIs to measure effectiveness of activities;
- Prepare regular reports on sales pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts for senior management;
- 5-8 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles;
- Excellent knowledge of the German market;
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth;
- Experience in the retail and e-commerce sectors, with understanding of their needs and challenges;
- Strong understanding of BPO services, industry trends, and market dynamics;
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills;
- Agile, self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively;
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events;
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred;
