Credit Risk Manager

Job Description:
  • Develop and implement credit risk policies that align with regulatory requirements and internal thresholds.
  • Review existing credit risk appetite statements, limits, and thresholds for recommendations to the Board of Directors.
  • Monitor potential financial losses attributed to credit risk against set limits and thresholds during BAU or stress scenarios/events.
  • Conduct supporting analysis for overall credit risk assessment to proposed new loan products and services.
  • Design and implement various credit risk models related e.g. Ascore/Bscore/Cscore/ECL models.
  • Enhance usage and output of Credit Risk Management System to improve quality of credit risk reports.
  • Perform independent credit review to ensure processes are within approved policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with business and operations teams to ensure strategies and processes are implemented towards reducing financial losses while maintaining profitability.
Requirements:
  • At least 5-7 years experience in banking industry particularly on credit risk management for both retail and corporate loans.
  • Extensive knowledge on local regulatory requirements of credit risk.
  • Strong proficiency on various data processing and statistical analytical tools such as R, Python, and SQL.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-intensity work environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and positive constructive attitude are a must.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
