Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage our company's invoicing, payment collection, customer account reconciliation, and cash application processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and sending accurate invoices, posting payments, monitoring accounts receivable aging reports, and communicating with customers regarding billing inquiries and payment status.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and send accurate invoices based on sales orders, purchase orders, and delivery confirmations
  • Post payments (checks, wire transfers, credit cards) and apply them to customer accounts
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on past due invoices
  • Communicate with wholesale and retail customers regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and payment status

The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a wholesale or retail environment, and be proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar systems. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are required, along with high attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a wholesale or retail environment
  • Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar systems
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
