Accounting and Financial Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accounting Controller to join our team. This role is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and driving process improvements.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and leadership, with experience in managing complex financial processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to management on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly close processes, financial statement preparation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall financial performance.
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure adequate funding for business operations and growth initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of process improvement and cost savings.
  • Experience in eCommerce or retail is a strong advantage.
