Lead Talent Attraction Strategist

The ideal candidate will spearhead the North American talent attraction functions and team, aligning their work hours to the USA/Canada workforce. They will be responsible for managing a team that acts like an internal recruitment advertising agency.

This role involves building and executing a comprehensive talent attraction strategy, managing sourcing budgets, and working closely with vendor partners and other internal teams to fulfill the applicant flow and hiring needs of a high-volume recruiting environment.

  • Partner with the talent acquisition team to anticipate upcoming associate hiring needs and maintain advanced awareness of applicant flow requirements.
  • Create a data-driven sourcing plan and drive sourcing efforts to ensure budget optimization and maximize applicant flow to meet client demands.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and maximize return on investment using data insights.
  • Manage relationships with vendors such as job boards, internet media, collateral providers, community partners, job fair organizations, university and workforce partnerships, diversity hiring partners, and staffing agencies.
  • Collaborate with procure-to-pay teams, accounting and finance for accuracy and timeliness in departmental marketing practices.
  • Project manage collateral creation by establishing deadlines, approving creative concepts, and holding vendors accountable for timely delivery.
  • Supervise, coach, train, and develop talent acquisition marketing staff, while contributing personally to the team's success.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience. They will also have strong knowledge of the US/Canada talent market and sourcing channels.

This role requires the ability to manage a remote, results-oriented team with the flexibility to work onsite at least once a month. The ideal candidate will have previously demonstrated proactiveness, problem-solving, and data-based critical thinking. Additionally, they will have experience managing budgets and utilizing advanced Excel skills.
