Retail Operations Manager

Key responsibilities include leading a team to execute and manage the order-to-cash cycle. This encompasses day-to-day operations, from order receipt through delivery, invoicing, and payment collection.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team responsible for executing and managing the order-to-cash cycle.

  2. Provide customer support for pre-order activities.

  3. Develop sustainable processes and systems that prioritize efficiency and scalability.

  4. Create and maintain SOPs for order operations specific to different sales channels and customers.

  5. Maintain data integrity in all order operations systems.

  6. Lead month-end reconciliation and provide accurate reporting to accounting.

  7. Design workflows using connectors like Zapier, Make, N8N, Parabola, etc. to automate repetitive tasks.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to work full-time US-based hours.

  2. Expertise in automations and experience with Zapier, Make, N8N, etc.

  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a customer-facing role.

  4. Elite organizational skills and attention to detail.

  5. Strong process orientation, including issue identification and scalable process implementation.

  6. Order processing experience, including EDI, B2B, and manual orders.

  7. Experience managing direct reports.

  8. 2+ years of experience working in US food & beverage order operations with distributors and retailers.

  9. Able to thrive in a fully remote work environment with minimal supervision.

  10. Customer-focused with an unrelenting desire to provide world-class customer service.

  11. Killer instinct mentality: Willing to take on challenging tasks and solve problems effectively.

Ideal Candidates:

  1. Strong understanding of Order Operations finance.

  2. Experience working in high-growth startup environments.

  3. Led a team through ERP implementation.

  4. Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills with strong quantitative and qualitative analysis abilities.
