Job Description:

  • As a Time and Absence Consultant, you will lead successful deployments by architecting, configuring, and testing solutions tailored to client needs.
  • You will foster the growth of other consultants by sharing expertise.
  • You will support proposal preparations, deliver presentations to clients, and speak at conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide in-depth expertise in Payroll, Absence, and/or Time Tracking.
  2. Lead deployment teams or coach others to gather and document client business requirements, design and configure Workday solutions, develop prototype systems, assist in testing, and complete knowledge transfer.
  3. Collaborate with client/data conversion teams to convert legacy data into Workday.
  4. Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions.
  5. Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model while coaching others on product knowledge.
  6. Communicate clearly and concisely, collaborating effectively on team-based projects.

Requirements:

  • Current Workday Time Tracking Certification.
  • 4+ years configuring and implementing a combination of Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking Solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous consulting experience with a software company.
  • Previous experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Functional experience in one or more of the following areas: Payroll, Absence, and/or Time Tracking.
  • Ability to manage against timelines and goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
  • Experience deploying multiple HCM/Payroll projects simultaneously.
  • Expected travel +/-30% depending on project.
