Job Overview

As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.

Key responsibilities include bank reconciliations across multiple entities, clearing account weekly reconciliations all entities, monthly Direct Debit Reconciliations Investigations, and Monthly Business Activity Statement BAS preparation. Additionally, journal processing and uploading weekly, monthly, and fortnightly payroll journals is a must.

You will be expected to liaise with Finance Operations stakeholders to resolve queries discrepancies and support internal external audit processes as required.

It is essential to participate in business system improvement initiatives automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in Accounting or bookkeeping roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting AU/US/EMEA/APAC market.
  • Bookkeeping or partial CPA/CA qualification preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, and other MS tools.
  • Ideal familiarity with NetSuite, or similar accounting software.
