Job Title: Financial Operations Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to support our growing team as a Financial Operations Assistant.This role involves performing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, processing invoices, refunds, and credits, maintaining financial records, and investigating finance-related support issues.
- Perform data entry and journal entries for accurate financial record-keeping
- Process payments, receipts, and reconcile accounts
- Maintain organized financial documents and records
- Resolve finance-related queries and provide timely assistance
Required Skills:
- At least 1 year of experience in financial operations, accounting, or bookkeeping
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in communication tools like Slack and Gmail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Knowledge of billing platforms like Chargebee, Stripe, or Recurly
- Background in startups, SMEs, freelancing, or remote administration
- CPA certification (desired but not required)
Bonus:
