Position Overview

We are seeking a Semi-Retired Engineer to act as Engineer of Record on a flexible, part-time basis. This role is ideal for a seasoned, licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with deep structural or geotechnical experience who prefers fewer hours and no direct business development or staff management.

This engineer will review, advise, and seal designs prepared by our skilled team of civil engineers and drafters, with final oversight from the company's founder.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in geostructural or civil design, be comfortable reviewing work by international teams, and possess high integrity and a strong sense of stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review geotechnical and structural calculations and drawings
  • Serve as EOR for select projects
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and high technical standards
  • Support the design team with clear, practical feedback
