Custom Furniture Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Custom Furniture Design Specialist to create detailed technical drawings for custom furniture projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent design skills, the ability to work accurately and efficiently, and strong communication skills.

  • Create precise and accurate 2D and 3D drawings for custom furniture projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and craftsmen to ensure designs meet specifications.
  • Prepare accurate shop drawings and construction details.
  • Modify and adjust drawings based on feedback and production requirements.
  • Evaluate all designs for structural and material considerations in custom wood fabrication.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (required).
  • Proven experience creating detailed technical drawings for furniture or millwork.
  • Knowledge of custom wood construction techniques (highly preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to translate design concepts into production-ready drawings.
