Operational Excellence Director

This role is responsible for driving the delivery of Operational Excellence initiatives within a global organization.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies to drive continuous improvement and operational effectiveness. This involves developing and executing strategic plans that align with business objectives, ensuring measurable outcomes, and fostering a culture of excellence.

This individual must have a deep understanding of Operational Excellence methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile. They should be able to maintain a working understanding of automation and AI concepts to identify improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate will partner effectively with business leaders and functional owners to define, scope, and prioritize initiatives that support growth, efficiency, and enhanced customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies to drive continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of improvement opportunities using ideation sessions and workshops.
  • Partner with business leaders and functional owners to define, scope, and prioritize initiatives that support growth, efficiency, and enhanced customer experience.
  • Educate and coach CI practitioners on Lean Six Sigma tools, methodologies, and project execution.

  • Ensures all OPEX initiatives are aligned with business strategy and goals.
