Job Description:

As a Production Control Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the production control schedules to ensure accurate due dates and quantities for material release requirements, fabrications, and assemblies.

  • Operate the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) computer system to track services and maintenance for equipment in the fleet.
  • Maintain the production control schedules to accurately reflect due dates and quantities for materiel release requirements, fabrications, and assemblies, as well as actual completion dates.
  • Update work orders, order parts, track materiel, enter man-hours used, etc.
  • Provide information relative to progress and completion of work orders.

Additionally, you will participate in and assist in preparing maintenance reports and statistical performance data when required. You will also coordinate with supply personnel to ensure adequate repair parts and supplies are available to support maintenance requirements.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and planning skills to manage workflow efficiently and accurately. They must also have knowledge to emplace or displace VSAT for maintenance operations.

Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • GCSS-A Plant Maintenance Certificates required.
  • Computer Maintenance Management System (IBM Maximo) experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a successful NACI background for a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Ability to acquire a U.S. Passport within 30 days of hiring.

Working Conditions:

The physical requirements for this role include medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
