Production Control Supervisor

  • The Production Control Supervisor oversees the daily activities of the Production Planning and Control (PP&C) department. This includes supervising personnel in production control and supply operations, managing receipt, control, and processing of all work orders.
  • Manage the PP&C department ensuring compliance with scheduling directives and standards driven by field-level and contingency maintenance missions.
  • Collect and analyze data to manage maintenance department resources including generating reports and documents managed in GCSS-A.
  • Direct and supervise the use of GCSS-A and Maintenance workforce to accomplish Production Control Section missions.
  • Advise the Maintenance Manager on workload status and effectiveness proposing corrective action for workload imbalances and backlogs.
  • Prepare briefings on maintenance-related activities including critical parts listings and ad-hoc queries.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Certification in GCSS-A Plant Maintenance/Unit Supply required.
  • Minimum four to six years of maintenance experience with at least two to three years in a supervisor-level leadership capacity.
  • Solid background in automated data process systems and Field/Sustainment level maintenance.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions.
