The Human Resources Generalist is a key role that oversees the entire spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, compensation, training & development, employee relations, and engagement. This position enables a highly engaged workforce and achieves business goals by ensuring seamless hiring processes, effective onboarding, and fostering a positive work environment.
">Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment: Support hiring needs to ensure positions are filled effectively and efficiently by utilizing optimum recruitment approaches, sourcing qualified candidate pools via social media, local job portals, referrals, etc.
- Onboarding: Ensure successful onboarding of new hires with organizational HR processes and tools, engaging them for smooth integration into respective roles and FISH Culture.
- Employee Engagement: Undertake engagement sessions and activities jointly with business to create a highly engaged workforce.
- HR Reporting: Super User of HRIS, responsible for accurate and timely monthly HR reporting, providing ad hoc reports as needed.
- Training, Education & Development (TED): Create awareness and promote PSA BDP University programs and courses, coordinate various training and development both internal and external, ensuring all mandatory training and development are completed within stipulated timelines.
- Employee Relations: Involved in Employee Relations' activities, handling matters related to disciplinary actions, grievances, counseling, staff misconduct, advising, and implementing best HR practices.
- Payroll & Compensation: Handle and execute payroll and compensation.
- General and Office Administration: Provide general office administrative support.
This role requires a minimum 6 years of HR generalist experience, knowledge and understanding of payroll and compensation, diploma/degree in Business, HR or related field, and experience from similar industry advantageous. The ideal candidate should also be familiar with local labor laws, possess strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word, have MNC experience, a positive Can-Do attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiasm with a Growth Mindset, independence, ability to work under tight timelines, and a strong sense of accountability.
