Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and analytical individual who can leverage data to identify key risk indicators and mitigate potential risks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data to inform risk decisions, creating ad-hoc reports to aid management, and monitoring key risk indicators. They will also participate in new product launches, policy changes, and process improvements.

This role requires strong analytical skills, a working knowledge of SQL, and proficiency in Excel. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent project management skills and a strong sense of ownership.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify key risk indicators and potential risk factors within the underwriting process
  • Create ad-hoc reports to aid management on risk decisions
  • Monitor and analyze key risk indicators and identified potential risk factors
  • Participate in new product launches, policy changes, and process improvements
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience as Risk Analyst, MIS analyst or data analyst in a financial sector
  • Working knowledge of SQL and proficiency in Excel
  • Strong analytical skills as proven from previous projects
  • Self-starter with strong project management skills to follow through on execution with a strong sense of ownership
  • Highly motivated, team player, and able to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Fluent in English
