Network Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations specialist to ensure the stability and reliability of our network infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring network performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuously monitor network performance using industry-standard tools to ensure optimal uptime and availability.
  • Analyze network logs and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Perform root cause analysis on network-related incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve complex network issues and develop long-term solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and service requests to support reporting and analysis.
  • Assist in implementing routine maintenance and upgrades to network systems to ensure they remain secure and efficient.
  • Contribute to standard operating procedures and best practices for network operations to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. Previous experience in Network Operations or similar role with a proven track record of success.
  3. Advanced knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, and switches.
  4. Familiarity with network monitoring tools like PRTG, SolarWinds, or Nagios.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  6. Effective communication skills to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
