Customer Service Billing Representative Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our customers. As a Customer Service Billing Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive accurate and timely billing information.

About the Role

This position involves interacting with customers to gather support data, resolving billing discrepancies, and educating clients on receiving invoices and remitting payments through online applications.

You will also be responsible for monitoring outstanding balances, taking appropriate actions to ensure clients pay as billed, and managing the preparation of invoices and reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables.

This is a challenging role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with customers to gather support data and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Provide input to policies, systems, methods, and procedures for effective management and control of premium billing function.
  • Educate customers regarding availability of receiving invoices and remitting payments through online applications.
  • Monitor outstanding balances and take appropriate actions to ensure clients pay as billed.
  • Manage preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables.
Requirements
  • An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED OR equivalent years of working experience.
  • Proficiency with Windows PC applications, including ability to navigate multiple programs and learn new and complex computer system applications.
  • Ability to multi-task and understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product.
  • Able to work a 40 hour schedule within operating hours of site.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as primary job tools.
  • Experience in billing or collections.
