Job Opportunity

A results-driven and customer-focused leasing professional is needed to oversee the leasing operations for a property portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a proven track record of driving occupancy and managing the entire leasing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leasing Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop effective marketing plans to attract prospective tenants for vacant units.
    • Manage online listings, respond to inquiries promptly, and conduct virtual or in-person property tours.
    • Follow up with prospective tenants to move them through the leasing process.
  • Tenant Screening & Application Processing:
    • Process rental applications, including background checks, credit checks, and verifying employment and rental history.
    • Ensure all screening processes are conducted in strict compliance with fair housing laws and company policies.
  • Lease Administration:
    • Prepare, negotiate, and execute lease agreements and related addenda with high accuracy.
    • Manage the lease renewal process, proactively reaching out to current residents to secure renewals.
  • Reporting & Market Analysis:
    • Maintain accurate records of leasing activity in the property management software.
    • Prepare regular reports on leasing traffic, occupancy rates, and market trends.
    • Conduct market analysis to ensure rental rates are competitive and aligned with market conditions.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current tenants.
    • Address questions and concerns from prospective tenants in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years of experience as a Leasing Agent, Leasing Manager, or similar property management role.
  • Strong understanding of leasing principles and fair housing regulations.
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding leasing targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
