
Portfolio Leasing Specialist

A results-driven and customer-focused leasing professional is needed to oversee the leasing operations for a property portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a proven track record of driving occupancy and managing the entire leasing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Leasing Strategy & Execution:
- Develop effective marketing plans to attract prospective tenants for vacant units.
- Manage online listings, respond to inquiries promptly, and conduct virtual or in-person property tours.
- Follow up with prospective tenants to move them through the leasing process.
- Tenant Screening & Application Processing:
- Process rental applications, including background checks, credit checks, and verifying employment and rental history.
- Ensure all screening processes are conducted in strict compliance with fair housing laws and company policies.
- Lease Administration:
- Prepare, negotiate, and execute lease agreements and related addenda with high accuracy.
- Manage the lease renewal process, proactively reaching out to current residents to secure renewals.
- Reporting & Market Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activity in the property management software.
- Prepare regular reports on leasing traffic, occupancy rates, and market trends.
- Conduct market analysis to ensure rental rates are competitive and aligned with market conditions.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current tenants.
- Address questions and concerns from prospective tenants in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
- 2-3+ years of experience as a Leasing Agent, Leasing Manager, or similar property management role.
- Strong understanding of leasing principles and fair housing regulations.
- Proven sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding leasing targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
