Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to fill the role of Senior Accountant. This individual will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of our accounting department, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, and oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Accounting Operations:
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes using cloud-based accounting software.
    • Review and process vendor invoices, employee expenses, and client billings in a timely manner.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor budget performance to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity, and recommend financial actions based on financial analysis and projections.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software is required.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
